Mens Teams

The Mens section provides excellent competitive opportunities throughout the year for players of all ages and abilities. We run 11 teams across the Birmingham, Metropolitan and Staffordshire tennis leagues.

The Club has one of the strongest veterans’ tennis sections, with many of the players having represented the club, their county and their country in a range of age groups.



We have 5 teams in the Birmingham league, 5 in the Staffordshire league and 1 in the Metropolitan league, so if you like your doubles there's plenty on offer. For those who like singles we have Team tennis events and a two tier men’s singles club championships, where the matches come thick and fast. Alternatively, if you just fancy a friendly game then head coach Neil can introduce you to some keen practice partners.

Ladies Teams

With 6 teams across the Birmingham and Staffordshire tennis leagues, competitive tennis on the ladies side offers a wide variety for members. 

There are regular coached practice sessions, winter league playing opportunities and a number of other external matches and competitions on offer throughout the year for players at all levels.

Our juniors are actively encouraged to participate in competitive team tennis from an early age.  We run teams aligned to the LTA Mini Red, Orange, Green and Yellow tennis programme, enter Junior Team Tennis events as well as host /participate in other local and national junior competitions, such as Road to Wimbledon and our own annual Junior Club Championships.

Our aim is for the juniors to enjoy this aspect of tennis and through progression and development become involved in a broader range of competitive activities at the Club.
