Rounds 1 and 2 for certain events to be played by 31 August 2024 (subject to the size of the draw) then all other matches between: Monday 2nd September to Finals Day on Sunday 15th September 2024

Men's Singles (Tier 1) - Open to Staffs A, B and C team members and Birmingham 1- 3 team members plus qualifiers from Tier 2 

Men's Singles (Tier 2) - Open to any club members with exception of tier 1 players above 

Ladies Singles - Open to any club members

Mens Over 45s Singles – Open to any club members over age 45

Mens Over 60s Singles - Open to any club members

Men's Doubles (Tier 1) – open to team players from: B’ham 1, 2 & 3 and Staffs A, B and C plus qualifiers from Tier 2

Men's Doubles (Tier 2) – open to any club members with exception of tier 1 players above

Ladies Doubles - Open to any club members

Men’s Over 60’s Doubles – Open to any club members over aged 60

Mixed Doubles: Open to any club members

£5 per event entered (only pay your own entry fee for doubles)

FORMAT FOR 2024:


  • In 2024, to spread out some of the early matches in the more popular events, we are introducing “play by” dates for Round 1 and Round 2.
  • If you enter such an event, you will be advised shortly after the closing date who your opponent will be, how to contact them and the date by which you must have completed your matches.
  • This way, players can manage their own diaries to cover these early round matches. You will have approx. 2 weeks to play these matches. It is therefore important that entrants, where happy to do so, give their permission for the Tournament Director to share their contact number with their opponent(s).   
  • We should be grateful if you would please tick the consent box to give your permission.
  • For matches, please book courts through the booking system. If you have any queries regarding this aspect, please contact Kerry Stewart on 07899 958 973 who will try an assist.
  • For events where the entry levels are generally lower, these matches will be scheduled for play during the regular tournament fortnight in September.


2024 TOURNAMENT RULES:


  • Closing date for entries will be 8:00pm on WEDNESDAY 10th JULY 2024
  • Players/pairs losing their first match can sign up for consolation matches in events where round robin formats are not being used
  • Event draws will be posted shortly after 20th July 2024, with match information emailed to entrants thereafter – it is essential to provide a valid email address and contact number
  • Should a player/pair be unable to make a scheduled match which cannot be easily rescheduled, they will be expected to forfeit
  • All finals will be held on Sunday 15th September 2024.
